Shipping Policy for Perishable Goods
At Wanted Raw Foods, we take great care to help ensure that your perishable items arrive fresh, safe, and in good condition. Below, you’ll find the details of our shipping policy so you know how we ship our products and how we handle any issues that may arise.
Shipping Methods
We use insulated packaging and temperature-control materials to help protect your perishable items during transit. Your order will be packed with dry ice, cold packs, or other temperature-control materials as needed to help maintain product quality during shipping.
- Delivery Days: Orders are normally shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid weekend delays that could compromise product quality. Wednesday shipping may be used only when needed for operational overflow and is not guaranteed.
- Shipping Carriers: We work with trusted carriers to support timely delivery.
- Order Cut-Off Times: Orders placed before 5:00 PM CST on Friday are scheduled to ship the next shipping week, usually on Monday or Tuesday. Orders placed after 5:00 PM CST on Friday will ship the Monday or Tuesday of the following shipping week. We do not offer same day shipping.
Delivery Areas
We currently ship to select regions within the United States where frozen or temperature-controlled shipping is available. Enter your zip code at checkout to confirm that we deliver to your area.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email so you can monitor its progress. Please make sure someone is available to receive the package on the delivery date, as perishable items should not be left outside for extended periods.
Important Customer Responsibilities
To help us protect the freshness and quality of your perishable goods:
- Be Available for Delivery: Perishable items should be unpacked and refrigerated or frozen immediately upon arrival.
- Provide Accurate Address Information: Double-check your shipping address at checkout to help prevent delays or misdeliveries. We cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for orders sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Inspect Upon Arrival: Check your order as soon as it arrives and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, package requirements, and selected shipping method. For certain regions or order types, we may offer flat-rate shipping or free shipping on orders over a specified amount.
Delays and Issues
While we work to ship and deliver every order on time, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays. If your order is delayed, we will do everything reasonably possible to help resolve the situation quickly.
However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
- Extreme weather or natural disasters
- Carrier-related issues outside our control
- Customers not being available to receive or retrieve the package after delivery
Damaged or Spoiled Items
If your perishable items arrive damaged, spoiled, or otherwise unusable, please contact us immediately at support@wantedrawfoods.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include:
- Photos of the damaged or spoiled item or items
- A description of the issue
- Your order number
We will work to resolve the issue promptly through our Make It Right Policy.
Returns for Perishable Goods
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns for perishable goods. Please review our Make It Right Policy for details on how we handle refunds or replacements.
